Six 2250 KW Caterpillar generators backup a 10 MW Active Power UPS system with one redundant 1 MW UPS module and one redundant 2250 KW Cat generator, all without the need for batteries. 8MW Liebert N+1 UPS Systems.
Critical (non-UPS) Power - Six 2.0MW Caterpillar generators backup critical systems - chiller plant, data floor lighting, and office space.

Cooling
N+1 Chiller plant. Over 200-30 ton Lieberts provide air flow to 176,000+ sq. ft. of raised floor space. Redundant piping systems for chilled fluid.

Critical (non-UPS) Power - 1,250 KVA Diesel generators backup critical systems such as chiller plant, data floor lighting, and office space.

Air Handling N+1 dry cooling plant; Redundant piping systems for Glycol.
Generator backup for cooling system provided by (2) 1.25 MW generators. DX rooftop dry coolers will be added to support Phase II power upgrades.

Power
Multiple, Silicon Valley Power, substations feed dual feed power to the facility at our PSG. Power is delivered to 4 transformers, stepped down from 12kV to 480V, and sent to the ATS's. From here, load is distributed through 4 main switchboards, MSB 1- MSB 4.
7 emergency generators: 3-1250KW units for 1st floor & 4-2000KW units for 2nd floor.
ATS's offer protection from power failure. The MSB's can be tied together to provide power in case of an ATS failure. The UPS units are redundant at the static switch level. Dual cord equipment offers protection from PDU failure.
Critical Power - 6 Liebert 750KVA UPS provide conditioned power for 1st & 2nd floors data center. 65 watts per sq. ft. density

Cooling
4 state-of-the-art chillers provide cooling to the data center floor and non-critical office space, etc.

Cooling
30 ton Liebert CRAC units feed all computer rooms. The air-cooled chillers and CRAC units are N+1 redundant.
